The Sea was hungry. He was very hungry, but he was also jealous. He wanted someone that none of his siblings had chosen, someone that still had a lot of food.
He mewled, chirped, and made several other kind of irritating noises as he made his way around legs and sitting people who had Impressed to his Clutch-Siblings. Then he saw a food source that was clear of even any other fire-lizard! He jump-flew to this person, catching his claws on their shirt and crying up at them for food. This person was I'ac, the very bashful Weyrling that had been quite far back from the basin...yet still hoping to somehow Impress.
I'ac was a little stunned, but at the same time happy. He cradled the Sea in his arms and began to feed the hungry little guy. " You sure can make a lot of noise can't you?" He said to the fire-lizard smiling.
" Now what to name you?" He asked himself and Coronth as he continued to feed the Sea. Perhaps something mellow, instead of the obvious?
I'ac smiled because even though he was feeding the Sea, the little fire-lizard was still making odd chirping noises. " I think I like Mellow." Mellow looked up with whirling blue eyes as he ate, happy that I'ac didn't have any other fire-lizards...but what would he think of Coronth?
