Fennore watched, with Kia still humming vibrantly. She moved to sit down, as Kia sent an image of a bronze. She shook her head. "Sand clutch sired by a sea. I don't think I can get you a bronze to boss around...how about a snow or a sea, though?" Kia stopped humming long enough to chirp.
None of the little ones was coming to her yet, though. A sea, a sand, two grasses and a storm cloud...she flickered a grin at them all, food ready if one came the way. In the back of her mind she could sense Talaith and she smiled inwardly, relaying the scene to the young sunshine.
One day Talaith would have a clutch...
T'dor grinned. "But of course. Rock could use a friend." Maybe a grass or a sand or a storm cloud...a female firelizard would be nice, but he'd take whatever. Rock flitted off T'dor's shoulder to land on a chair, regarding the clutch and humming. The sound was a pleasing backdrop to eggs falling apart to reveal...a nice variety. Small, of course, this would only be the smaller colors...
...and Emperoth was *still asleep*. Silly mineral.

"True, they both seem content with one another. And all the hatchlings so far look healthy and in shape -- so everything's good."
The female grinned, watching the hatchlings move around, ahtch, some impress and others wait. It was clearly a grand sight to look at. She grinned, watching them all. She had though two firelizards to be enough, but how could she hold herself against impressing to one of her beloved Skitt's offspring?
"So, S'ric, hoping to impress one of Uli's little babies?"
Saich remained quiet, the meat dangling from her hand with mild obliviousness. Little Sun chirped, the Mineral was clearly excited as he watched along -- impressed by it all. Of course, he had hatched from a clutch similar to this -- but he had been too hungry to watch his siblings and see how it went. Now, though, he had plenty of time to watch as he continued to hum.

Zinera came in, really late because she'd been clear on the other side of the weyr. She had come only at her Zalren's urgings. He instantly picked up the welcoming hum for the hatchlings, perching above the fireplace, but at a distance; just incase Uli didn't like him.
Zinera smiled at the fact that the hatchlings were well attended. "Might I try for one as well?"She asked S'ric. "I'd have been here sooner, but I was clear on the other side of the weyr." She waited for his reply, but still grabbed a meat roll out of the pouch she had on her. The roll would work just as well as fresh meat, it was still food and something they could eat.

S'ric smiled at Reishy. " I did think about it, but look at all these people wanting one of her hatchlings. It makes me just as proud to see them all get one as it would to Impress one myself. What about you?"
He looked at Zinera and laughed a little. " Of course dear, everyone is welcome to try!" He smiled at her and then turned back his attention to the eggs.
Now it seemed that hunger was too much for the little happy Storm Cloud. She stood from where she had been sitting at the edge of the basin and jumped on the nearest person to her....Reishy, creeling for food.
She seemed to say, Feed me and I will be happy again! What an odd Impression...
S'ric smiled, watching Reishy for a second with the new fire-lizard, then turned back to the eggs to see another one rocking violently. But before that...there's a loose-end that needs tying up.
The larger Grass walked zig-zag through the room. She still couldn't shake her fall from her head...or maybe she was just a little crazy, but she was getting desperately hungry now. Or perhaps it was the subdued behavior of this individual that brought this Grass to her. Kafra was suddenly set upon by a crazy flitter who simply stated MY FOOD!
Two eggs burst open down the middle simultaneously to reveal two very opposite Seas. One was dark, the other very light..perhaps a sky-blue. One was large...while the other was just average. Still, they stretched the same way and looked over at each other at the same time.
It seemed that the only thing that the smaller Sea didn't copy was his larger Clutch-Brother's reluctance to Impress right away. This average light blue Sea jumped right onto the floor and almost rolling over to T'dor's feet. He cheeped up at this man for food and Impressed.
As it seemed everyone was paying attention to the exciting eggs, one of the eggs that wasn't rocking so much popped apart.
An average sized Grass rolled out of her shattered shell and un-noticed onto the floor. The only person that noticed this lime-green (how can nobody notice this poor flitter?) Grass was the person she asked for food...Setoya. A suttle Impression, but still Impression.

Zinera smiled before turning toward the remaining hatchlings. She gently tried coaxing the unimpressed blue toward her, attempting to send waves of love and reassurance to him. She was hoping for another for the simple fact she never really got to impress Zalren. After all he had reimpressed from her father to her.
Zalren didn't seem to mind her trying to coax the blue toward her. She had ripped off a peice of the roll and held it out to the little guy. If he didn't come to her, he didn't come, she could only try. There was likely less chance of her getting one, coming in so late. Zal hummed encouragement to the blue still unimpredded.

Well, just like her brother was now stuck with a male and two girls, Reishy now had two boys – and a rather happy female Storm Cloud. The flitter had caught her by surprise, but Reishy did not complained as she fed the little one. How unusual, a Storm Cloud that was actually happy most of the time. “Who’s a chirping little girl? Yes, that’s it. I’ll call you Chirp.’ The Sea crooned loudly, definitely delighted. One of their offspring had impressed to his Keeper! And such a fine girl she looked to be. However, it was clear the Sea was love struck with the Sand Uli, so it was doubtful that he would ever fly any other flitter.
”Well, what do you know? I got a third baby.”
Reishy simply grinned. Though this meant even more responsabilities and less free time – the red-head was still pleased. And her Tiarath agreed.
----
They were hatching at a steady pace, the Storm Cloud Rider noticed, so far it seemed this was a very healthy clutch. Saich smiled, petting little Sun as he continued to chirp and thrill in excitement, a meatroll on his forepaws. Another was on her hand, faintly paying attention to it. If a lfitter came, well good. If they didn't... Well, Saich wouldn't die because of it.

T'dor blinked as he suddenly found a light colored sea at his feet. "Well, you're a cute little guy." He picked it up, feeding it some of his meat as he moved back a little, giving space to those not yet lucky. It was a very light sea..more a sky than a sea, he thought wryly. "Hrm. Name. What do you think, Rock?"
Rock chirped his approval of his new friend but, being a firelizard, didn't have any name suggestions. Names were, after all, for the benefit of silly humans. "Not Sky...half the firelizards on Pern are called that!'" He was probably exaggerating, but not by much. "I know. Your name is Cirrus." That was a kind of cloud, he recalled
--
Fennore hrmed. The firelizards were still ignoring her...but then, with her lovely ladies, how could she be greedy? She didn't exactly try to coax the other sea to her, but kept one eye on it. Were there any eggs left unhatched? Yes..quite a few, in fact.
So, one of them might yet pick her. Or even that little sea that was taking his time to decide.

((It's Setoya who's here, not Fyrai, but I assume you mean her.))
Setoya focused on a flitter who rolled out of her shell, a bright, lime green fire lizard nobody else seemed to notice. How couldn't they notice? The grass was the most interesting of the lot, and it was like, lime! ZOMG!
The grass chittered affectionatly to the hyper brunette, and the girl's green eyes lit up with happiness. A normal flit for once. One who was crazy and fun and not a furious protector or an overly-emo storm cloud. A grass.
"Hmmm.... Little one you need a name." Her foggy eyes were focused, not vague like she was off in candyland like sometimes. A small grin touched her lips.
How about calling her what you've been thinking of her as. Exquisitely Normal.
Tantieth sounded grumpy, but Setoya grinned. "Perfect Tantieth. I'll call her Exquisite, Exqui for short. And as I know you want to hear, we're done here. I don't need another one. Exqui is enough for me."
Oh good. Can we go outside?
"Sure Tantieth." Setoya replied, placing her newly-named Exquisite on her shoulder. "Lets go."

Without saying anything, Kafra was almost over whelmed, two crazy greens, they seemed to atract to her like magnets! She started feeding the little baby like crazy. The little thing was hungry and she couldn't stop feeding it. Looking at her new crazy green, she decided it needed a name and couldn't live as it forever. Kafra then heard a sleepy voice in her head, Mine, name it after me, KK. I like it, it be fun. Then Kafra felt Kelilath go totally to sleep. Looking at the poor knoked up green flit that was now hers she said, alright, KK it is since I can't think of any thing better.
KK was fine with her name and after eating her fill, she fell gently asleep in Kafra's arms. She seemed to be shaking in her sleep, but soon she stopped, she would probably be a tad bit crazy like Kelilath for the rest of her life.

J'don smiled as the firelizards impressed, essentially feeding off of their contented feelings. Firelizard feelings were smaller than those of humans and dragons, and easier for them to handle. Sargonth was watching the hatchlings closely, curious about the little dragon creatures.
I hope I get one this time, J'don thought to himself. He had been overlooked at the last firelizard hatching, and hoped to have better luck this time around.

The next egg had been wobbling for pretty much the entire time. As it finally burst open, an average sized Storm Cloud tumbled out and chirped distressedly. This Storm Cloud was not a very happy one, discontent from being unable to break her shell for so long and from her insatiable hunger. She opened up her larger than normal wings, shaking them free of a few drops of goo.
There was only one person that didn't seem very interested in Impression that was in the room...that had to be there. This person wasn't necessarily 'stormy', but this little Storm Cloud was drawn to this woman's aloofness.
She flew from the basin, clattering on tiny claws to the floor at Zenniel's feet. Looking up, the Storm Cloud screeched lightly for food from Hers. Looks like Zenniel has Impressed another fire-lizard!
The larger of the two Seas that had hatched moments ago still stood in a hero-like pose in the basin. He only broke it when he could feel his tummy rumble from hunger, a need for food. These large figures had food...but which one to choose?
He spotted a girl that intrigued him. He tilted his head to one side and chirped as he hopped out of the basin over in that girl's direction. He stopped at the girls left foot and scratched at it, chirping...food?. Fennore had just Impressed to this larger Sea!

Kay grinned at all the new little fire-lizards as Blade continued to eat. They were all so cute! And where was Arrow? The silly thing, he didn't need to still be sad about not winning Uli's Flight, Kay didn't mind that he had lost. One couldn't win every Flight anyways.
Should I tell him that? Nobleth shifted momentarily from her watchful position right next to the basin of eggs to glance at her rider. Kay shook her head. She could do that... it was probably partially her fault for urging Arrow to go. Satisfied with that, Nobleth returned to staring at the eggs.
Kay couldn't help but think the way Nobleth watched them was sort of creepy... it seemed almost predatory in a motherly and curious sort of way. Maybe you could step back from the eggs, love?

Fennore laughed a bit as the second sea came to her. Just as she had with Kia, she fed the firelizard and moved back "See, I got you a male to boss around, Kia."
Kia chirped approvingly. "His name is....hrm....I think, Tiro. You like that?"
It was, of course, over the sea's head. He ate more food then regarded Kia with fascination. Well, as long as the two got on...Fennore would be quite happy.
Two was probably enough, though. At least for right now.

There were five eggs remaining un-hatched in the basin. These eggs though seemed determined to do something about the un-hatched part.
One of the smallest eggs broke into shards as the Grass inside erupted from her little prison. Such an astonishing bright green was she that she seemed to glow like a queen about to take Flight. She acted regal as well, overly so for a small Grass firelizard. Her hunger also drove her to look for anything or anyone with something to feed her.
And she found it. She quickly shook her wings of the remaining goo and flew straight into J'don's arms requesting food of him. This Weyrling had finally gotten his own fire-lizard all right!
The largest egg burst open into four pieces as the little fire-lizard inside finally broke free. The Sea stood and shook his wings dry as he looked around for food. He felt the constant wave of encouragement and such from a nearby source as well as saw dangling food. Perhaps this food was for him? He was a large Sea, the largest in this clutch, and was certainly starving.
He hopped over to the food and looked up at the person holding it. My food? He chirped even as he ate half of the morsel. Zinera had just Impressed this Sea.
This egg hatched right after the large Sea egg hatched, and out of this smallest clutch egg came a Snow. He was quirky and happy from the moment he rolled out of the remains of his shell. As he stood on shaky legs, he chirped and gurgled happily at the outside world.
Perhaps because he was so small, or maybe the happiness out-weighed his hunger...but the Snow wasn't quite ready to Impress yet.
The last two eggs hatched together, revealing a Grass and a Sea. The Sea creeled for food and jumped upon the floor, walking among all the gathered people trying to find one that wasn't already feeding another fire-lizard or that had food.
The Grass, though not as hungry as her Sea brother, chirped around the basin...found nothing there and then, without drying her wings tried to take flight. This sent the Grass bowling into a person, Saich. When the Grass opened her eyes again, she looked up and chirped at Saich...seeming to say Do you have food?
The Grass had Impressed to Saich while the Sea roamed around.

As the Grass bowled right into her arms Saich gave a pleasent smile, crooning to the little one before feeding her. Her Mineral, Sun, watched from her shoulder -- chirping welcoming to the female firelizard. It made the Rider at ease to know that, at least, her Mineral had no complains. As she pondered over the nae she gazed at the firelizard's green hide, before a smile lightened her features. "You'll be called... Jade."

Well, Zenniel had known it. She had guessed it right, and had... fortunately (?) ... been ready. Xiri and Cree, the little buggers, already knew that she would have gotten a fire-lizard. That's why they were humming happily, Cree wrapping his tail around her neck, and Xiri chirping contentedly. Zenniel had her arms crossed while she leaned backward into the wall. She watched the little hatchlings hatch while wondering how Lilith's next Clutch would be and if Sretoth would still be Lilith's mate.
But a small scrabbling was heard and Zenniel looked down. To her ... unsurprise there came a small Storm Cloud. The Storm Cloud was very pretty and had larger than normal wings. Zenniel thought she looked funny, the poor thing. Zenniel bent down and picked up the Storm Cloud while Cree disentangled himself from Zenniel's neck and disappeared between to get a piece of meat. The Storm Cloud ate the eat from Zenniel's proferred hand.
"Hmm. You're a nice little... forlorn looking thing. I'll name you ..." Zenniel was caught, as she was never really good at names. Good thing the dragons came with their own names. "How about Lost?" And so Lost was named. Poor Lost really was lost. (=3 Zen loooooves Lost -Da TV show-)

Zinera grinned and started to feed and sort of croon in a soothing manner to the sea. She kept feeding him while thinking over a name. Zalren perched upon her shoulder to greet the little blue. "How about Tsunami?"Zinera mused quietly aloud.
Tsunami chirped, he didn't really care what she called him, he just wanted his food. And so he was named Tsunami, after the giant waves. After all, he was the biggest sea in the clutch.

Ok, well back to the Sea wanderer and the happy little Snow.
The Snow finally calmed down enough to feel the rumble in his stomach. This he didn't like very much, it made him feel...well not so happy. He looked around for some food, lots of it to make the bad rumbling go away...and he found some very close. He attacked S'ric's arm thinking it was food. A somewhat bloody Impression.
S'ric really wasn't paying much attention, he was watching Reishy with the Storm Cloud...that was until he felt the hot pain on his arm.
He looked down to see a Snow clawing his arm, one gashed rather deep, but S'ric smiled. " Come on now little one, that's not food...here." He reached over near him and grabbed some meat.
As he fed the Snow, and used a piece that he had ripped from his shirt to stop the blood flow, he thought of a name. " You're a vicious one, but I think that's only when you are hungry...hmm...how about a reminder of this little thing on my arm then little guy? How about Gash?"
Gash chirped, he liked that name...he liked everything now that the rumbling was gone.
((OOC: Ok...that leaves the Sea, I'm aware. I am asking if anyone has a character that isn't here yet and that is interested in him...you have very little time. Tomorrow if no one has PMed me then he will go to the only person here that hasn't Impressed yet, my other character I'ac!!!!))
