About the Person:
Physical Appearance: His body bears no scars as yet though he knows anything can happen with Weyrling Dragons. He walks with a slight limp this is from a jump during a Weyr game when he was younger, he landed wrong and now his knee pains him. What he would normally be seen wearing is a nice leather shirt and leather pants that have the design of dragons intertwined it was made by his eldest Kanit. He tends to be very strict about his facial appearance his face grows a beard but he does not like having it, because it gets in the way of his helmet when he rides. His appearance is normally very well groomed he does however have times when he looks dishevled, those times are normally when his kids jump between.
He has no physical scars but over the course of Turns his face has hardened because of all the kids he has watched jump between and never come out. He looks older than he really is because his face is care worn, he also feels old because he is beginning to get arthritis in his bad knee. With that he seems to be aging faster than a normal man should.
Personality: He is a caring man, he is patient and will not yell for any reason. If he raises his voice its to get attention from his class. He is also a man who loves children of any kind wether creche or his own, even his students. He believes the weyr as a whole still has a duty to all of Pern no matter if thread falls or not. His feelings toward other Bronzeriders are that they have duties to those below them in rank that because of this they should always help when they are needed no matter what, he enjoys some competition from them though he tends to be very easygoing during these competitions.
He likes the Weyrwomen though he has dislikes with the Weyrleader but its not his place to say anything, he respects all those above him in rank and so he is content to stay and teach. He has no real hobbies he prefers to spend time alone with his children most particularly his youngest, though he has almost no time for all of his children. He was addicted to fellis once a long time back and because of Kintrath and his son he pulled out of that. He has no desire to step down at any time soon or ever, at least for now that may change in time watching the children die in many ways.

History: He was born in Southern Hold, to a young woman by the name of Kylora she was only 30 at the time of his birth. He was the first born of three, his father was a Harper born and raised, so for seven years he lived with his mother then his father came and took him away to the Hall. Katnor as he was known then was heart broken his mother was elsewhere while he was here with this old man who knew nothing about children. Once every Turn though he got to see her she would come to visit him and talk to him when she could get away because it was so busy at the Hold always that she could only get out of work once a Turn.
A Turn passed and he was now eight Turns he began to take an interest in the notion of becoming a dragonrider. His father squashed that idea, so the boy turned back to his studies as was what a Harper's son did he worked and wrote until his fingers dropped off from ache. Katnor was hating his father more and more every day, but on the times when a dragonrider would come on search Katnor was out and watching to see if he was picked. Every time he was disapointed, he began to wonder if he was fit to ride a dragon he kept hope however through this.
On his twelvfth Turning day a blue dragon and his rider came in search, it was then that he was told that he was to go to the weyr and have a chance at becoming a dragonrider. Katnor was pleased but scared he would be leaving the safety of the Hall and going to the Weyr a new place a place he had never been before. He however loathed his father and wanted to flee the evil man who had taken him away from his mother, he went with the rider to the weyr.
He stood at the hatching he did not impress, but because he had been Harper raised he was able to be valuable to the Weyr and so he was allowed to stay until the next hatching. He did well in his Candidate classes he was sure he'd impress this time before he hadn't been ready, he hoped and hoped but every hatching for seven Turns ended in failure. He began to lose hope then when he was ready to give up he decided to stand one last time if he did not impress this time he would just leave the weyr for good.
He stood and the hatching was a miracle this time he watched as egg after egg hatched and impressed then a bronze more beautiful than all the others hatched. This one made its way toward him and once the dragonet stood at his feet it looked up at him and told him in no uncertain manner that it was hungry and its name was Kintrath. He nodded and he took his miracle off the sands to food and together K'nor and Kintrath started a new life together forever more, K'nor was pleased and happy that he had a dragon and soul mate.
Weyrling Training went smoothly, well at least for the most part. He was the only mineralrider in that clutch so he was the wingleader he didn't like it at first but then he grew use to it, he began to enjoy ordering others around. But then all to quickly he was being ordered around as they had graduated and he was now a mere wingrider. He did what was asked of him and for a Turn after graduation he did nothing untoward.
The first time Kintrath rose to chase K'nor was only three Turns out of graduation. He then found out that a man rode the green, so because of this he went to Lower Caverns to find a woman soon she was pregnant. He was pleased and decided that he would help take care of the child. He and the woman came to a decision to name the child Kanit. His mothers name had Nitra and so it combined both parents names, K'nor was soon working hard at being a rider and being a man.
Kintrath was chasing many grasses and the occasional sunshine, he was a trying to win but failed many of them. Three Turns after the birth of Kanit, Kintrath won another chase. This one was another green, K'nor was beginning to get irritated with Kintrath always chasing Greens. K'nor was now 25 Turns old, he decided then and there to start helping the Weyrlingmaster. He soon discovered that woman had died giving birth to his daughter. He was sad but he went on and took her in but he could not take complete care of a child so he had to give Kalira to the creche.
Two Turns later Kintrath won again, this time K'nor thought about the fact of her being with child he sighed and continued working with the weyrlingmaster. He was now 27 he soon was doing more and more as the weyrlingmaster got stressed more and more. This woman stayed at the weyr and gave birth to his youngest son. Whom was given the name Nortan, it was fitting for the young child. He was now working on getting the current class to graduation, he was also having to help care for his chlidren.
Within two more Turns the WeyrlingMaster stepped down and K'nor was appointed the new WeyrlingMaster. That was when he gained the right to teach the many students who would come. He is now nervous and worried about doing things right.
With K'nor growing up with Thread he knows the threat it poses to all the people and things of Pern. Because of this known threat he teaches the youngsters how to defend themselves against this menace that is falling on Pern. He is also teaching them things that his Master had taught him even though his Master was newer to Southern than some of the others.

Appearance of Dragon: He is a rusty greenish mineral, he has a deep green tinge to his wingtips. His wings are rusty and dark he has many shades throughout his hide. His body is big and strong, he has a very big wingspan. His legs are strong and well built he has no scars from anything less than thread fall
Personality of Dragon: Patient, like his, he is often seen reassuring the Weyrling dragons. Kintrath is a gentle giant, he has a shorter attention span than your average mineral. Because he is more interested in mating flights, he seems more capable of paying attention to them. He also has a patient streak with youngsters and is tolerant of many things.
