About the Person:

Physical Appearance: Zelana looks young for her age. She has young looking face with very wide, light green eyes. She has freckles all over her face, which won't go away no matter how hard she tries. They get darker if she goes out in the sun, so she is often seen wearing a large-brimmed sun hat if she's going to be outside for a long time. Her hair is a light brown. It's stick straight and fairly long, and she usually ties it up with a ribbon.
Zelana is a tall, gawky looking girl. She has a thin build and few womanly curves, which just makes her look even younger. She doesn't really mind not being curvy, though. It just means fewer asinine men hitting on her.

Personality: For someone who is weyrbred, she has a surprising sense of propriety. Some would say prude. She just calls it sensible. She thinks before she leaps and tries to consider the consequences of everything. Sometimes she takes this to a bit of an extreme, and she tends to worry about things quite a bit.

Zelana has nothing of her father's fliratiousness. Not that she doesn't like men, and she isn't opposed to looking at them and thinking about them. She just refuses to do anything about it. She says she's waiting for the one right person to come along, rather than having a new pet boyfriend every other week. She's tried to convince her father to try her method, but so far it hasn't worked. She's stubborn, though, and she probably won't stop bugging him about it.

Even if Zelana doesn't want to flirt too much, she still likes having fun with her friends. It just takes her a while to open up.

History: Zelana is the result of her father's forbidden candidate tryst.. She was raised in the lower caverns, but her father tried to be involved, even if it was more as a friend than an actual father. As a child, Zelana was always the one who was telling her fellow weyrbrats not to try some stupid stunt. She had her friends, but she wasn't the most popular weyrbrat in the lower caverns.

When she was older, she decided to start training to become a junior Headwoman. She was well on her way to doing so, but then her father informed her that she was suitable for candidacy. She decided to try standing just once, and see what happened.

Why: I think that they would fit her well, and I like them. None of the colors really match her exactly, however, and I would accept any color for her.
