Tianthe, as usual, did her best to take as many as she could by surprise. Taking on the role of a Terran praying mantis rather than a fire-lizard, she went bug hunting. There were many in the humid air of the Southern Continent and so this didn’t take her long. The little Grass would catch one, maybe a large dragonfly, tear off its head, and set to sucking the organs and blood out of the body. Next there were the fluids in the head. ((It's fun watching mantises eat >.>))
And to bother Hers, Tianthe left the empty husks of her prey on Tirasha’s pillow before shooting through the window and outside. Her hide glowed in the morning light, her grass-green skin standing out against the purple-pink dawn. For a little while, this would be her reign.
Shrill, excited bugles escaped Tianthe’s mouth as she flew. Come, she seemed to say, come and get me. I’ll bet you can’t. Her eyes matched the corners of the sky the rising sun hadn’t yet reached- a dark, lusty purple. As the sun rose higher, lighting the sky further, Tianthe’s hide seemed to increase in its brightness too. The flitt flew in circles above the Weyr bowl, awaiting suitors. Any fire-lizard willing was welcome. Tianthe bugled again. Just let them try and catch her…
Tirasha awoke with a jolt. Her sudden movement sent the husks of a variety of insects flying, colliding with her skin and sending tingles up her spine. Disgusting. Shards, that flitt.
Willow danced at the other end of the bed, his eyes tinged faintly purple. He wouldn’t chase Tianthe, she would never let him fly her anyways. Tirasha reached out and hugged the Mineral to her thin chest, gazing unhappily out the window. Tianthe was small but, in the Healer’s opinion, could release lust comparable to a dragon’s. Any rider would easily deny that, but Tirasha probably wouldn’t ever experience real dragonlust and felt she could hold her own opinions.
Willow gave Tirasha’s cheek a comforting lick before worming his way out of her arms to inspect the insect husks scattered on the bed. Were these skins any good to eat? While the Mineral busied himself, Tirasha hurried to dress. How long had Tianthe been up already to have caught and eaten all these insects? Even from her room in the Lower Caverns Tirasha could hear Tianthe’s shrill bugles. This would be an interesting Flight.

Kay was still asleep, unable to urge Arrow to go chase the fire-lizard this time. Having lost to the Sand, he did not want to go out and make a fool of himself again, especially against a Grass. No, the little Forest decided he would stay right here with His. Blinking the purple that was trying to rise in his eyes away, he curled up in the hollow of Kay's neck and fell asleep again.

Moon poked at Tori for a few moments, but gave up. He didn't need her permission for this! He chirped and shot out of the nearest exit to the Bowl, easily spotting the glowing Grass fire-lizard in the earily morning.
He bugled to her, he could win! He was Moon!! He flew closer to her, his eyes turning more purple as he flew...his excitement growing.
Tori finally woke up when she felt the tug of lust. She looked around and sighed...well he hadn't chased in a while. She probed after him and saw Tianthe.
She smiled, nice choice.

The wild firelizard had been itchy with impatience since early morning, a mass of packtailc arcasses lying around as he sunned on a rock. The count was no higher than three, and fully blooded and left dry to bake in Rukbath's rays when it rose high in the air. He had left his flock not too long ago, a 'lizard of about nine turns that had decided it was enough time for him to make a flock of his own. Sure, he was no Queen, but he could get a mate -- and together start a flock. And, if he got a Queen for a mate then he would have to make sure to keep being her favorite. But if he were to get any other female... Well, there would be no chances of future Queens trying to take his domain. Thus, when Grass Tianthe had rose to the skies, the Earth had already made up his mind.
She would be his, and his alone.
A bulge resounded deep from his troath, a response to her challenge. Oh just you wait, my beauty. You will be mine. His tones almost seemed to suggest such message, eyes whirling in deep shades of purple and faint reds. The factor that another flitter was chasing annoyed him, but the Earth was confident -- too confident. In his whirling eyes, Moon was no threat. And so the Earth focused his gaze on Tiathe, on the lovely shining green hide, and gave a low and long seductive croon. He made sure to stay at an even pace, a firelizard lenght in front of Moon, though behind enough from the Grass to give her space. HHe would not force her to be his. No.
She would willingly come to him soon enough.
The Earth followed her spirally path as she rose higher, ocassionally giving a barrel roll or a tighter spiral to show his healthy and fit physic as well as endurance. He would charm her with his grace, impress her with his looks, and soon she would be his and his alone.

Only two pursuers? Could that really be right? Tianthe crooned lovingly to the Earths, but inside felt rather sad that this was all that had arrived. How long had she been waiting, bugling her welcome to anyone? And only two fire-lizards? Well... she didn't want to put off the chase for too long. What would be the fun of it if she lost her energy circling and waiting? Hopefully more would join, she didn't mind latecomers....
Much.
Tianthe crooned again and shot towards the lake, flying low over it so that she could admire her reflection and those of her followes. She was quite beautiful today, wasn't she? Yes. These two Earths obviously realized it. Moon and a wild one... ah, how fun. Tianthe liked Moon. And she liked wild fire-lizards, they were always much more willing to play with her than Willow. Had she played with this Earth before? Tianthe couldn't remember. Ah well...
A fish?! Had she seen a fish beneath the surface? It had glistened so brightly, it must have been a fish. Ah, but she was brighter. Most definately. Beautiful little Grass, that was what Tianthe was. She chirped to the Earths. Do you think I'm beautiful, lovies? she seemed to ask with that small noise.
They had better.
Tirasha hop-skipped outside and sat down on a discreet ledge on the edge of the bowl to watch. She would probably be left alone here, and she could watch the little Grass fly; something that was usually entertaining. Willow nestled in her lap and watched too with eyes touched softly with violet.

The Flight was finally beginning! Moon chirped to Tianthe and then saw the wild Earth coming to join in. No matter, He wasn't going to lose to some silly wild fire-lizard!
He shot after her quickly and answered her inquiring chirp. YES! YES! You are the loveliest thing in the world! His little bugle sounded, and His heart throbbed with it.
His eyes were now completely purple. Nothing could distract him from the glowing, beautiful Grass in front of him.
Torimin was walking along the hall to find an exit. She looked out and found a ledge, and sitting down...she looked over to see Tirasha on the one next to hers. Here to enjoy what they could see of the Flight too she guessed.
Torimin looked up and watched the sky where she could barely make out Moon from the other Earth...and Tianthe

Raga, seeing a flight going on took off. He didn't care that he had left Cedana and Monarth behind. He hadn't gotten to chase in a while and he wanted to. He sped after the beautiful grass while sending her lovely mind pictures, she would and could be his because he wanted her. He didn't care about the others in the flight, for he was the one she wanted. He was the best for her. She was a beauty and she WOULD be his. He wanted he and even though he was normally a shy, quite polite flit, he did not hesitate to make noise and send mind pictures about how he loved her and how beautiful she was. He did not even hesitate a bit for his instincts had kicked in.
Cedana was gently bathing her Storm Monarth when she felt Raga take off. She quickly shut the flight out of her mind and focused on bathing Monarth. Monarth was laying there lazily while Cedana cleaned her, being a typical Storm Cloud.

The Earth gave a faint chirp of amusement at the message the little Gras conveyed, asking if she was beautiful. Of course, the male already knew the answer -- but the trick was how to best say it. Surely the excitement the other Earth used wasn't the way -- so eager to say yes that he almost seemed desperate. At least, that was the mentality of the wild one. A Sea had joined, though the Earth payed no attention as he made sure to keep up with Tianthe. He was older than most here, yes, and thus more experienced. And strong. This flight would be a breeze.
My love, why do you ask such things? Could there be another one as gorgeous and beautiful as you? Of course not.
His croons and chirps conveyed that message, another croon escaping his mouth as he continued to fly. Yes, she was so pretty and shiny, nothing looked better than the little Grass. Nothing could ever look better than Tianthe.
And this gorgeous jewel would be his and his alone...
Overconfident much, yes. But he had survive in the wild without any human help. He was strong and experienced -- what better mate than him? No other, of course.[/sup]

Tianthe trilled happily as the Sea joined the Flight, dipping back to circle him and chirp an enthusiastic welcome. Good, good, more were here! Three now. She rather liked all the images of her beauty he was conveying to her too. And the Earths assured her of her beauty, yes, good. She was very beautiful.
They were too, Tianthe admitted to herself as she pumped her wings to fly ahead again. But not as beautiful as her, nothing could be, as the wild Earth had said. Folding one wing, Tianthe rolled onto her back and skimmed upside-down above the lake, arching her neck so that her chin rested almost on her chest and looked over the three following her with eyes a dark but vibrant purple.
A soft croon escaped her as she rolled back over and twisted to climb up higher. The dragons flew high, she could too; much as she enjoyed skimming above the lake and admiring her reflection. Come, come, up we go! Up high and higher, in the air where one had space to perform. Tianthe twirled and rolled gaily as she climbed, wondering if the larger fire-lizards would be able to copy her intricate dance or just fly fast after her. Fast flyers were good... but so were dancers.
Tirasha glanced over at Torimin with some surprise- so she had been wrong, she wouldn't be alone here. Ah, well... Willow crooned softly to the fire-lizards flying after his sister, his own little encouragement to them that they probably wouldn't hear. They would need all the luck they could get, both flitt and Healer knew, as Tianthe's way of choosing who won her Flight was constantly changing and rarely made any sense in the first place.

He crooned to Tianthe as she flew over the lake. She flew upside-down for a little while, looking back at them with her violet colored eyes. He was right behind her, though keeping a courteous distance.
He chirped to her happily and flew up with her as she sprang up into the sky, climbing higher and higher.
Beautiful Grass, I would follow you anywhere. He crooned to her as he followed. He did circles in the air and zig-zaged every now and then, to prove his agility. He was never far behind her.
Torimin nodded to Tirasha and just pointed up. " Let's watch. I'll leave you to your thoughts Tirasha." She could feel Moon's lust, though it really wasn't that strong...compared to what Torimin thought dragon-lust might be.

The Earth crooned, amused by the Grass' anticts and tricks. She was lively one, that much was certain. Crooning with enthusiasm he followed her again as she skimmed over the lake's surface, flying upside-down as she watched them. His own eyes whirled with deep and vibrant purple shades, mixing quicker and quicker as the flight progressed. And soon she was up in the skies, the moment the Earth had been waiting for.
After all, no matter how vain Grass could be, the sky was were all their flights always turned more interesting.
Here he had space to be himself, here he had space to move and keep his freedom -- much like in the wild. Unattached to anyone, simply living and flying. That was the way to live, not attached to obey every single whim of others. A bulge of excitement was given, as well as to catch Tianthe's attention. He would dance, he would dance as all wild flitters were taught from birth.
And he was sure she would watch.
Twisting and diving, rolling and spiralling, the male showed off his strenght and physic in a contrincated display, one trick after another all weaved to fall in line with such smoothness and perfection -- like a well made coreography. His display done he flew below the Grass, crooning all the while, before circling her a few times much like she had done with the late Sea.
Yes. you are indeed beautiful, my dear.
Earth had no eyes for someone else, all other chasers were now forgotten. Only Tianthe mattered to him.

Because of Baltizath, Kelladren had been preoccupied. Baltizath was very needy, even for a Sea! How much food could one dragonet eat? How many times must one dragonet be oiled? How many times must Kelladren call on her dragonet and leave Blazer and Mirr hanging? Either way, Blazer and Mirr got along, even if Mirr still got cracked hides like Baltizath did. Sure, Kelladren helped Mirr, but besides that, it was like Baltizath had taken over Kelladren’s life. In one way he had, and in another… well, he still had.
But now, though, it was Blazer’s turn. Put down over the loss of pretty Uli, Blazer was immediately alerted to Tianthe’s rising. Kelladren, who was once again oiling dear Baltizath, was only alerted by his departure after he had departed. Where is the little one going? Baltizath asked, craning his head around as he tried to keep Blazer’s flitting form in sight. To try and catch another fire-lizard. He failed the last time, you know. Baltizath let out a small croon, Well, the best of luck and all the shards of my egg to him. Baltizath said, wishing Blazer good luck.
Blazer knew he was far behind. Blazer could feel it, and he could see them way ahead of him, carving intricate circles in the sky. He could see his prize near the front, no, at the front. She was a beauty. Tianthe. And he was very late. Oh well, he could make up the time, he hoped. Yes, hoping came in handy a lot here. Just… not too much or he’d fail at hoping and then, possibly, fail at everything else, too. Blazer, not the one for ‘words,’ chirped his very late arrival as he strove to keep up. Barely flapping his wings and letting the updrafts from the lake take him ever closer to his prize, and---
Suddenly she shot upwards, this wonderful emerald above the lake. He looked down and saw her shimmering form lessen in the waves the higher she got. How wonderful was she, but he could not, would not call her his. He knew better. There were others flying, others chasing, and he was a mere Sea. No, he would not call her his, not until he caught Tianthe. And he would catch her. He would catch her if it was the last thing he did. He adjusted his wings so that he was spiraling upward. He was still fairly behind the other chasers, but now he was a little higher than most of them. Little swirls of light fell through his delicate wing membranes as he rose, making his reflection on the water seem snake-like, not at all fire-lizard looking.
But still he rose. Not as large as Veiruth or Baltizath, but he felt just like Veiruth had when he was chasing Lilith. He felt just like Baltizath had when he first hatched from the egg and knew who His was. Exultation, joy, and love to be flying. Fear that he would not be chosen, anger that those others who were flying were automatically thinking that this wonderful Grass was already theirs, and anger at himself for not leaving soon enough. A crazed lust that pounded first in his heart then set his lungs on fire. A small kindled flame of fear that he would drop too far behind, or was already too far behind, for her to recognize that he was even chasing her.
But all for Tianthe. Everything for Tianthe. He would not lose this time, please. If a flitter could pray he prayed, to his broken, and long since gone, egg, to his mother’s broken egg, to the eggshells that would hold his one-day children. And he gained, a new burst of speed was ushered to his wings, and he would fly. And he would fly for Tianthe.[/sub]

Raga crooned to the beautiful emerald with delight as she circled him. It might mean she favored him! He love the height though. She was the greatest grass ever! She flew so high and well, his heart went out to her. This grass was a rarely seen beauty, or at least he thought that. He sent pictures of how great and lovely her flight was, and how beautiful she was. He cried out his love for her in his little flit voice and flew as well as he could after. He didn't care what the wild earth that was beside him was doing, his heart and mind were all for this beautiful grass flit that was flying in front playing leader. She was his and no one else's to catch.
Cedana continued working on cleaning Monarth. The only thing that even told her how the flight was going was Monarth looking into the sky and lazily saying to her, Raga's flying pretty well right now. Other than that, Cedana had locked the feelings out so that they wouldn't disturb Monarth.

Another Sea now! Oh, how wonderful! Tianthe did not mind much that there were fire-lizards late, at least they were here. Perhaps they had just been far away and wanted to prove to her that they could fly that whole distance and then continue flying just for her, instead of just betweening here. Or maybe they were just late...
But Tianthe was quite sure that latecomers had a good reason for being late. So she congragulated them on appearing. Turning briefly back again, Tianthe chirped to the new Sea. He had chased the Sand, hadn't he? But he hadn't won. Well, maybe he could catch her here. Maybe. There were four chasing her now... Tianthe couldn't count much higher than four. But she would like it if more came anyways, even if she couldn't name the amount.
As she circled back to her place in the front, Tianthe discreetly (in her opinion at least) watched the two Earths as they flew. Both were very talented, yes. She really liked the tight twists of the wild one; but also the circles and crooket zig-zag's of Moon's she liked. And Blazer, the way he spiraled! Tianthe liked that very much too. And she still liked the ideas of her beauty that Raga continued to feed into her mind. They were all very good.
And Tianthe still had plenty of energy, she didn't have to think about which one was the very best quite yet. And did the very best of them matter? Probably not, for in truth she was the very best. They were just trying to prove that they were more the best of each other, even though none could quite best her. Oh no.
Tianthe crooned again and suddenly twisted, diving back towards the lake, down, down, beneath the surface- look, that fish again! Was it the same one? Maybe... Twisting up, coming out again, almost running on the water like some birds did... up, up, high again. Her hide, already shining, now glistened with water. Could her followers do it too? Would they dive beneath the lake, would they have the strength to come back up and fly high again?
Well, Tianthe hoped so. She paused on an early thermal, circling with it and watching, waiting. To make her Flight long, Tianthe took all the chances for some sort of rest, and this was a good time for one, she figured. The thermal was warm too, not like the chilly lakewater...
Tirasha smiled faintly at Torimin's comment, although she didn't speak or wrench her gaze from the flight. Tianthe was definately trying to show off this time, diving under the water... Would the other fire-lizards do it? She knew of some who had been raised so in captivity that they had lost the instinct for agility in water that their wild ancestors had. Well, Tianthe was from a wild clutch and had swam a lot growing up, she knew how to manage a brief dive.
Willow turned his head to chirp to Torimin, making up for the silence of His, before arching his neck to peer over Tirasha's legs and at the four fire-lizards chasing his sister. What would they do now?

Raga love the antiques of this great and beautiful grass flit. She was such a great flier! He dropped down toward the lake as soon as she did and skimmed the water instead of diving downward. He knew there was no way he could compete in greatness with this flit, so he sent how well she flew and how beautifully. He did a couple flips to show off a touch but always continued to tell her how beautiful she was. He started upward, hoping to catch the thermal she flew on, and came up right behind on the thermal, nerver stopping in his praide of the flit in front of him.
Cedana peacefully washed Monarth, not even realizing the antics of the grass flit that Raga flew.

Kelladren had stopped bathing Baltizath and was wondering what Blazer was doing. Baltizath, not used to being slightly ignored, butted His with his head. Is the little fire-lizard so amusing? The Sea asked, anger tingeing his voice. Kelladren knew that the anger was not real, since she could feel his emotions, but decided against saying anything. He will win, will he not? He has to win! More of a sort of fear now, possibly still anger. Kelladren ran an oily hand over the top of her Sea’s head, and her eyes gained a far off look. I don’t know, Baltizath. It all depends on who Tianthe likes.
Baltizath huffed, and turned to Mirr. Mirr was sunning herself in the morning sun. Why does this one not help him? At that Kella gave a silent laugh. Baltizath looked at Kella with different colors in his eyes. What are you laughing at? You! Mirr can’t help a male chase. There was a pause as Kella stopped. Then she looked at Baltizath happily, you can’t understand it now, but you will soon. Baltizath stood there for a moment, his head swinging back and forth from Mirr to His. Finally, he huffed and sat on his back haunches. I have a feeling you’re not going to tell me now. That’s right.
Blazer was there, yes he was! This little Sea was going to win! But he would not call Tianthe his until he caught her. He would show her. Show her that being late wasn’t so bad… and that being a Sea… well… he would just SHOW her! He had reached a height that was near hers. He chirped triumphantly, partly because he hadn’t even used his wings as much as those others! But would she count that as laziness or cunningness? Blazer shivered at the thought of making the beautiful Tianthe angry. He was there, but he was behind. Far behind. It was a miracle that she had even acknowledged him… wait, she had, hadn’t she?
Aaaaand then she fell. Tianthe fell like a bullet, or a large rock, she fell so fast. Blazer could barely keep his eyes on her. And then she was gone… no, the water… and then the… oh, she was in the air again! She was daring them! And Blazer, no matter how stupid it sounded, would take the dare! He was, after all, a Sea! He would dive into the water and he would show Tianthe what he was made of! Surely she would like him, then! And so, to start his descend, he tucked in his wings. The sudden downward movement pointed his face, his neck, and his upper body down. Then he fell, much like Tianthe had. But he showed no constriction of his wings. He was going down, down, farther, farther, and he planned to go into the water.
The water enveloped him like a cold pack of ice. He was instantly underwater. He flared his wings; he had had a lot of training from Kelladren in diving, since he had had to get his own fish. Now was no different. With a powerful kick of his hind legs he was coming back up at an angle, and there! He broke the surface like an insane version of the Terran Flying Fish. His wings were outstretched, and when he broke the surface he sprayed wonderful little droplets of water everywhere. Under the surface again, and then again above! More droplets! This time he flapped his wings, the water only slightly weighing him down. He quickly caught an air current, and sailed forward. The forward momentum from his fall and then his little jumping maneuvers had progressed him the space needed to be almost just behind Tianthe. Good boy. Letting out another small squeak, since his mouth was practically full with water, Blazer started to climb to meat the beautiful emerald creature flying above him.[/sub]

She was trully a prize to behold, the wild one decided. And so, the Earth would not lose. He kept his pace, at her right and at level with her haunches -- though the Earth never touched Tianthe nor invaded her space. he had enough experience from other wild females to know what the liked and disliked, and he knew they all liked to feel like they were in control. As if they were the best Pern had ever seen. Sure,t his Grass was good -- but the Earth new he could best her at anything, he was just slacking off enough to let the spotlight shine on her. After all, it was her flight.
Let the girl have her moment, right?
A low croon was given, charming and seductive as he continued to chase, following her every move. He was an Earth, and his muscle covered hide [along with scars] proved his strength and experience. He was not one of those soft and cuddly pets that chased after her. here, he was the only real flitter, all of the other males were just petty and ridiculous things. And surely Tianthe would realize that. But for now it seemed the flitter was having fun, and so he would allow her to go on. He would not catch her through force -- however tempting the thought could have been.
And then she was diving once more.
The wild Earth watched, allowing his contenders to think of him as perhaps being lazy or distracted, when he trully wanted to see what they would do. Well, the little Raga kept thrilling praises around, broadcasting them everywhere -- and it was starting to make Earth angry. But the male would ignore the Sea, he was no competition. The other Sea, however, proved to be lightly different -- perhaps a worthy obstacle. Though certainly not worthy of being his rival. The fool, diving into the lake twice. Seas didn't had enough endurance, with those stunts, and this would surely take more of the Sea's strength fast.
And now he dove, pulling up to be at a parallele course with the lake's surface -- before a glimmer-y sheen caught his attention. A packtail. Tianthe had been watching it for a while... With a quick motion he dove into the waters, chasing the pack tail all the way to the surface. Now there he watched it, breaking out of the cool waers before hovering above the packtal -- who probably thought it was now safe, since its chaser was nowhere to be seen. With a quick and powerful swiped at the surface, he sent the fish upwards before he caught it in his front claws. He bulged, trying to get Tianthe's attention as he used the thermal to rise. The packtail was rather small, and the claws that punctured the sides kept it in place as the male flew. He was showing off his hunting skills, proving he would be an excellent mate.
Do you like these, my beautiful and shining Grass?
He chirped, the question simple but clear. Another croon, he was gliding now at her right, letting her see the prize he had for her. Once the packtail had gone still the wild Earth moved it to his mouth, strong jaws keeping it there in place as he continued to fly. The fish was small, enough to to crowd his full vision -- but his main idea was to make sure his underside and paws were clear for when Tianthe came to him. Yes, Earth was sure he would become her mate -- for who else here could best him? Well, besides Tianthe of course.

He was never far behind, no never. He watched everything She did with wide wondering, purple eyes.
She dove, dove out of the sky and He followed Her. She was a wily one, so He backed off to observe Her for a minute.
He was glad He did, She dove under the water! He trilled Her lovely hide sparkling with droplets as She sprang out again. Now He didn't hesitate, He crooned to Her as He skimmed the water for a minute, then rising up a little in the air...He dove in.
He erupted out of the water spinning. Water flew off in an arch like a small tornado or something (can't think of something else >_<) and He bugled to Her of Her power.
As He cut out of the spiral, he gently sailed into the thermal right behind her and chirped to her. No matter what display I do, you are always more beautiful, that chirp said.
Torimin smiled.

From where she circled, Tianthe could easily watch as each of her followers dove in turn. Raga didn't go under the water, but he did a few loops to show he still had talent... just not daring apparently. She sniffed. The second Sea followed, plummeting straight into the water, only to pop out and dive in again! She turned her head to chirp happily to Blazer as he fell in behind her. Very good, yes.
Third, she watched the wild Earth dive. He didn't dive into the water... just skimming, and then oh! He went under and brought out a packtail! Was that the one she had been watching? She wasn't sure, but it was a fish anyways. This Earth was a good hunter... that was good, she thought. Tianthe did like to eat.
Finally the last Earth. She didn't see him at first- he must have followed her down part way... but stopped. He skimmed the water... then dove in. Good! And then the way he spun when he came out! Tianthe liked that trick very much, especially the way the water flew off him in such a pretty swirl. She crooned to him playfully. All her followers had followed that trick in some way... and now she could do something else.
The wild Earth still held the packtail, what could he ever do with that? It would only weigh him down- Tianthe didn't plan to eat during her Flight. The big dragons didn't eat flesh before, and definately not during. So she wouldn't either. Well... Willow would probably like a treat while he waited. Maybe she could get the fish later and give it to him. There was no reason for the food to go to waste...
Tianthe had continued drifting as she considered this, but now took off quickly again, towards the ledge where Hers and Willow waited. Sometime along there she could figure out a way to get the fish to him. For now... the males could just chase her.
Tianthe was coming this way now? Tirasha sighed. She could see no reason for the Grass to be coming towards them; in most of her Flights she tended to avoid people. Well, each one was different, there was no reason for her to not come in this direction now.... The flitt probably had some sort of idea that involved going in this direction anyways. Hopefully.
"So, how's Eceth doing?" Tirasha glanced at Torimin. Tianthe wasn't acting like she was planning on doing anything too important quite at the moment... she could ask. Tirasha was always curious about the young dragons anyways.

Though he was not pleased to give his prize to anyone other than Tianthe, the wild flitter had to agree that it was only in the way for now. With an inward grunt [for he was far too prideful to give anything away, let alone something to a Mineral he followed right besides Tianthe [though his head remained at level with her shoulders] as she flew, mimicking each turn, wing stroke and flick of her tail. They were flying above a few people and the MIneral flitt down below -- and the wild Earth could clearly see Tianthe seemed fond of them. Her Keeper no doubt. He dove down a bit, enough to skim above Tirasha, and dropped the fish in the woman's lap.
He would not give it directly to that pampered Mineral, he had his pride con keep and conserve.
Rising again he re-took the position he had left before, bulging loudly to all the other chasers to intimidate the competition. He was a strong Earth, and he would not let himself lose so easily. None would be allowed too close to Tianthe. A good hunter, and --apparently -- a fierce protector. He then turned his attention to Tianthe, crooning softly and inviting. He continued to radiate his lust as well as a warm feeling, trying to tempt her closer to him, as well as praising her clever tricks and beauty every now and again -- though not so frequently as that annoying Sea had done. A good hunter, fierce protector, and charming. What more could a Grass hope for?
Oh and, of course, a relatively high rank of color.
Yes, the wild Earth was over-confident, but under his claws he had every reason to be it. None of these pampered pets would ever be able to compare to himself. ANd the wild Earth was confident that this Grass darling would realize this -- he was, by far, the best choice out of all of her chasers. Every now and then he twisted and rolled, continuing to show off. A Grass would never have more endurance and strength than himself, so the Earth could allow himself free space to show-off to his heart content. So long as he didn't over-exceed his limits, of course.

Realizing he had lost some brownie points by not doing any fancy moves, he did some spirals and flips in the air. He would look good enough for this beauty, she should be his. He flew fast after her and getting behind her he did more flips. THe idiot wild had grabbed a fish and wouldnow have to get rid of it, what a waste. He continued praising the flit with voice and mind, for she was daring and beautiful. She was the best and most beautiful.
Cedana brought Monarth to her couch in the barracks as the little dragon fell asleep. Maybe now she could go watch Raga's flight after the other flit. Maybe she might see some of the other weyrlings there.
