Roluth touched down and let C'it off. He was impatient to get to the herdbeasts. Come on, Come on! Get off quickly so I can eat!
" Ok, ok!" C'it laughed as he slid off the Forest dragon. " Go on you fatty." He teased and affectionately slapped his dragon's shoulder before Roluth was airbourne...heading for the Pens.
C'it pulled out a blanket from his pack and put it down. He sat slowly and relaxed. " This could be a while..." He giggled to himself.

Amirinth was already at the feeding grounds and glanced up at the Forest dragon distractedly before returning to trying to decide which of the herdbeasts could possibly be the perfect one for her. She had always been a picky eater, deciding on a meal took a long time compared to most other dragons.
So R'keh sat on a ledge, watching and waiting. His Grass seemed almost like a bumblebee, flitting about trying to decide which flower would have the best nectar, although the dragon was deciding between animals, not blossoms. Noticing another green dragon, although this one was much larger than Amirinth, R'keh looked around for its rider. Finally he noticed C'it on a different ledge and waved. "Roluth hungry too?" He called.
Ah, look at that perfect creature... Apparently Amirinth had stirred up the herds to her taste and finally picked out the one that fit her current interests. With an excited hum, she dove after it.

Roluth delicately attacked a herdbeast that he had brought down. He sucked out the blood first, and then began to eat. He was a very careful eater because he hated to get it all over him...and C'it always complained about having to wash him after every meal, so he kept down the mess.
C'it on the other hand was relaxing right now. He heard another calling him from a different ledge. He looked over and saw R'keh, and waved back.
" Yes he is, the big beast seems to get hungry every couple of days!" C'it laughed. " I see Amirinth has a healthy appetite too!"

"She usually does." R'keh smiled slightly and shifted so that his back was leaned more comfortably against the sun-warmed stone he rested against.
Amirinth paid little attention to the riders or other dragon as she tore messily into her meal. Although the hunt could take a while, the dragon wasted no time in eating. As was usual with the small Grass, her tail flicked about behind her as though it had a mind of its own while she ate.

C'it grinned and watched his dainty dragon eat. It always made him smile because His took after him so much.
Roluth had finished his first kill and launched up for a second. He quickly brought down a larger herdbeast. He only waited a few seconds before he sucked out all the blood and began to eat.
C'it grimaced a little and turned to look at R'keh. " Roluth is so...dainty isn't he? I guess it's some of my influence on him...I'm a neat freak too."

R'keh laughed. "Maybe. Amirinth definately doesn't take after me." In fact, he thought, I'm starting to take after her, the silly creature. "I don't relish washing her after. You're lucky Roluth is so careful when he eats."
Amirinth finished off her herdbeast and took off again, her muzzle and forepaws now stained dark with fresh blood. Flying in wide circles, she began searching for a second beast to kill. This time she decided a little faster, diving on a creature who made its dying breath as noisy as it could. The Green's eyes flickered yellow with annoyance and she briskly tore at its neck to silence it.

C'it laughed. " Yeah, though sometimes he does require me to wash him afterward no matter what. He loves to be clean! More than me!"
Roluth snorted. Ha! No one will be as concerned with cleanliness as you are!
C'it sighed. " Roluth says that there is no way that anyone likes to be clean as much as I do."
It could be true...but he was sure they were really close.

"Amirinth likes being clean too, although she has no qualms about getting messy." R'keh chuckled.
Well, I don't try to, Amirinth muttered.
R'keh watched the dragon eat, his eyebrows raised. Of course not, he replied. "Amirinth thinks the dirt just comes to her magically."
The Grass looked up from her meal to glare at the cliffs she knew she had left her rider on somewhere and then returned to eating.

C'it laughed. " It seems to attack Roluth. He is constantly wanting to bathe...or at least that's what it seems like."
He ran a hand through his hair...it was oftly hot. He may need a bath after this Feeding. Roluth rumbled inside his rider's head at that thought. C'it smiled and sighed.
" Rather hot today isn't it?" C'it asked. " A breeze would be nice and welcome."

R'keh watched his Grass and only nodded in reply to C'it's comment. Dirt did seem to be everyone's enemy. At least Amirinth didn't like taking too many baths, in her opinion they wasted time. Although she did not loathe taking them, the dragon preferred doing other things.
"Yes, a breeze would be wonderful," R'keh replied agreeably to C'it's next comment. "Although I think I would rather be too hot than too cold."

" That is true R'keh....but i like to be in the middle and not either hot or cold." C'it grinned.
Roluth finished his second herdbeast and launched into the air. He lunged at a wherry and grabbed it in one claw and brought it to his mouth to suck out the blood before landing and beginning to eat.
C'it leaned back onto his elbows and sighed.

"We don't seem to get that middle temperature too much though." R'keh shifted slightly, a small stone that had been digging into his shoulder for a while now was finally beginning to really bother him.
Amirinth yawned widely and licked her lips, watching the herdbeasts curiously. She seemed unsure whether she wanted to take a third creature or not, and finally decided not too. The muscles of her hind legs bunched as she pushed off the ground and took to the air in search of a sunny ledge to rest after her meal. Amirinthlove likes it when it is hot, she commented. The sun feels good on her belly and wings.

C'it grinned as the Grass dragon finished eating. " That's true, we usually get hot or cold...and breezy." Still, he wouldn't like to live anywhere else...he loved being a dragonrider.
" Roluth looks to be filling up too." He observed as the dragon picked up his head and looked about for a small herdbeast to fill his stomach just right. " He may rest for a little....if he's not too dirty." C'it laughed.

Finding a well-sized flat spot on the rock face, Amirinth landed and rolled onto her back, her feet in the air. R'keh laughed softly, this seemed to be her favorite position, ever since she had hatched and taken up the same one to show him how hungry she was.
At least I am not hungry now, Amirinth commented as she closed her eyes.
"Amirinth obviously would prefer resting," R'keh said. "Then she'll probably fight to avoid a bath."

C'it laughed heartily at Amirinth's antics, well habits. Roluth really didn't have any like that. Nothing funny, just that he loved to be clean.
" She certainly is a funny dragon, in a good way." C'it commented.
Roluth mumbled as he finally finished eating and decided to rest for a little while. But then it's bath time! He told C'it roughly.
C'it smiled as Roluth went up to a sunny ledge and quickly made himself comfortable and fell asleep.

R'keh nodded. "Yes, she can be." If Amirinth hadn't fallen asleep so quickly, she probably would have contradicted him for it. He knew she would be awake again before long though, the dragon seemed unable to keep still long enough to even really rest. Even now, actually, she wasn't holding quite still. Her tail twitched methodically and every once and a while one of her paws would swipe through the air as though she thought she were grabbing something. R'keh sighed softly, shaking his head.

C'it smiled over at the Grass rider. Roluth moved around his bulk in his sleep, to find a more comfortable position in the sun and on the ground.
" This is certainly a serene day though isn't it?" He said. He pulled out a canister with fruit juice in it and took a long drink. " Ususally about three or so dragons feeding when Roluth gets the hunger paings." He laughed.
" I guess he just likes company."

"It is." R'keh nodded. "Amirinth usually tries to find times when there aren't dragons here... much as she likes company she prefers having the herds to herself when she eats." He smirked.
Amirinth, meanwhile, let her mouth fall slowly open and eventually her tongue flopped out of the side of her mouth, seemingly finishing the comical picture she seemed to give while sleeping. It almost made her look dead if only her tail would hold still. R'keh recognized this as a sign that she wouldn't be sleeping much longer.

As Roluth continued to sleep C'it watched Amirinth's sleepy antics.
She was now sleeping with her mouth open and that made C'it laugh. " She really gets relaxed when she sleeps doesn't she?" He asked R'keh.
Roluth moved ever so slightly in his sleep, making C'it wonder how much longer he would be asleep. C'it wondered how long it would take to clean the Forest this time, he was sure that he didn't get too dirty eating...but you could never be too sure.
C'it smiled and sipped at his juice.

"Yeah, although usually that's a sign she won't be sleeping much longer." R'keh laughed. "It's always just a lot of short rests with her."
Almost on cue, Amirinth's eyes flickered open and she rolled back over, closing her mouth and eyeing the riders curiously. You've been talking about your Amirinthlove, hmm R'kehmine? she stated accusingly.
There isn't a lot else. He smiled faintly, although the dragon probably couldn't see his change in expression from her perch.
Amirinthlove supposes it is good that at least she is more interesting than Roluth when she sleeps then. Amirinth stretched, arching her back and drawing her forelegs forwards in a feline way.
